Sharitive
A nonprofit mobile app that helped people give back to their communities, 2012 to 2014.
Sharitive started in 2012 to help close the nonprofit funding gap and make local giving part of everyday life. People earned donation dollars every time they shopped or checked in at partner businesses, then gave those dollars to local nonprofits. It launched at Crema Cafe in Cambridge, Massachusetts.

The pilot ran until January 2014 to test two things: whether the model could profitably scale, and whether people would change their behavior for social good.
